Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantics’s Rich Tandler gave an update on the second OTA practice from the Washington Redskins that included former Union High School and Oklahoma Sooners punter Tress Way.
Way has been with the Redskins since 2014 and began his NFL career as an undrafted rookie with the Chicago Bears in 2013.
“Way is in midseason form,” Tandler writes. “He lofted a punt that landed in one of the light fixtures some 100 feet above the floor of the practice bubble and stayed in it.
“The third-year player said that he couldn’t do that again if he tried 100 times.”
